The weather will have a huge impact on your outdoor event and on the services we can provide.
Here are a few different types of weather that can cause problems for your outdoor event:
The obvious one! Heavy rain can cause problems if you don’t have a marquee booked – so always book a marquee if you’re planning a big outdoor event like a wedding reception or a charity fundraiser.
It can also affect any inflatables you’ve hired. Heavy rain makes the inflatables slippery and unsafe, but we would discuss that with you on the day before making a final decision. We won’t erect a bouncy castle or any kind of assault course in these circumstances.
We’ve probably all heard some horrifying stories about what can happen to bouncy castles and other inflatables in high winds. Using bouncy castles in high winds can result in severe injury and even death.
We will not put up any inflatables if the wind strength is more than 23 miles per hour.
If it’s snowing and you still want to go ahead with your outdoor event, it will have to go ahead without inflatables. Snow, sleet, and hail are just very cold rain, and all the same problems apply.
There are a few things we do if your outdoor event looks like being a wash-out.
